The Xplanet
project creates global cloud maps
using GOES,
METEOSAT,
and GMS
satellite imagery downloaded from
the Geostationary
Satellite Imagery page at Dundee University. You can
use these maps to show the world with near real time clouds!
Cloud maps are in a simple rectangular projection and are created every three hours from the latest satellite infrared images.
